Since moving to Atlanta, we have met an amazing family who we already feel as though they are a part of our family. We met them through a lacrosse contact and I began training their oldest daughter, Elizabeth and now train their middle daughter, Rachel as well (and eventually their youngest daughter Sarah who is going into 8th grade). Their parents Will and Jan invited us to their lake house and we had the most amazing time! We just played all weekend long! Everything from wakeboarding, knee boarding, tubing, swimming, hanging out on a sandbar in the middle of the lake, jet skiing, ping pong, dance revolution, silly board games that were hilarious...gosh what else...eating DELICIOUS food! We had SO MUCH FUN!
The 2 hour drive to their lake house was really beautiful. Lots of green pastures, farms and mountains. And this is what we pulled up to once we arrived in their driveway.
Paul and I want a garage like this one day...filled up with wakeboards, tubes, boat equipment, etc!
Paul and Rachael carrying down 'Poparazzi'!
Paul was so excited to wakeboard.
This little guy was excited to be at the lake, but very nervous to get in the boat...
Would love this to be in our future one day!!
Landon was showing Elle how to 'carefully' walk on the dock. :) Such a good big brother.
Ready to head out on the lake!
Landon was so cute...asked to sit in between Mr. Will and Daddy and did not move an inch. He also popped his head in his lifejacket like a scared little turtle haha.
Our scared little turtle...but don't worry, he perked up after a little bit and eventually had a blast on the boat!
Our little adventurous baby girl loved the boat and pointing at the trees as we drove by them.
Getting ready to jump in!...as you can tell, Landon wasn't too excited at the moment haha.
We've reached the sandbar!
The lake water was so refreshing and made me reminisce back to my childhood when we would go to Maine! Happy baby!
Love this pic of baby girl and me...my little peanut.
Rachel and Sarah took position at the front of the boat!
Absolutely gorgeous lake and sunset!
She was so cute in her little life jacket.
Rachel loved sitting with Elle on the boat and Elle loved sitting with Rachael.
Elizabeth, Rachel, Landon and I snapping a quick shot together on our way back to the house!
Once Landon got a nice cold glass of chocolate milk he was back to his normal happy self.
Just before their bed time, the girls played some fun games with the kiddos.
And Landon got to play a bit of ping pong. He is going to be a baller one day. Has a pretty mean forehand already!
Their youngest daughter Sarah and I were partners the whole weekend. We were a great team...she has a sick forehand and my backhand came in handy when we needed it. :)
Then the girls thought it would be funny if Will, Jan, Paul and I did a group dance revolution with the Wii. Let's just say it was not my strength haha and man alive...what a workout!
And now the ladies get their chance to show their stuff...as you can see we are all focusing pretty hard and making some very interesting faces haha.
Homemade pizza! And since we are new to GA, they all decided we needed to try their famous peach pizza. It was SO good!
Such a good little eater.
And here is the finished product...yummmm!
The reigning ping pong champions of the weekend. But, we are coming after you guys next time!
More great pictures to come with lots of funny faces during our water sports!
