Recent Happenings

We are really enjoying Atlanta so far.  Still haven't met many people outside of our neighborhood, but that will come.  So as of late, we have just been getting to know our new surroundings and getting our house put together.  Elle got a little stomach bug and I unfortunately came down with it a few days after she did.  I ended up in the hospital, but we are both doing great now and are back on our feet!  Thank God Paul and Landon have not shown any signs of sickness (yay for Lysol!).  These are some recent pics of our latest going abouts!

The kids love our bed.  Every morning they climb up and sprawl out.
Landon now calls his toys his "Treasures" and lines them up in the kitchen.
 Breakfast anyone?

Landon coloring in our family room while watching a Disney classic, Tarzan.  This is a before pic of the fireplace and wall.
 Such a little artist.
An after pic of this wall...not quite finished, but almost!  Need to hide some wires and figure out how to decorate, but it's coming along!!  Paul put together the bookcase and built from scratch the TV stand!  He's becoming quite handy with his new tools.  :)
And on this wall we decided to use an idea we got from the Pottery Barn magazine.  We hung these pictures with boat cleats and boat rope.  Again, Paul has been working very hard and it's starting to feel like home...just need to put some pics in them now!  :)  It's going to be a places we've lived theme.

 Out and about...
This is a 2T Baby Gap outfit...she's just growing so fast and is SO BIG!
 Love this little munchkin.
Leaving the gym after a fun couple of hours of play time!
When there is a speed bump, Landon HAS to walk on it because the black part is like lava.  So, he decided to teach his sister this important fact of life.  :)
'Ooopps, don't slip' he tells Elle.  So sweet.
 Having fun in the car!
 Your stylin' dude.
Another day, we visisted Whole Foods and Landon was begging me to buy one of these fish to take home haha.  We bought some from the freezer section instead...much easier to handle.  (Still rockin' his Navy lax shirt Uncle Geoff!)
I've always wanted to try one of those cake pops from Starbucks...so we did and mmm are they good!!
 The kids were chowing down!!
 The average temp these days.

With our first home buying experience comes new tools and yard equipment.  So, here we are at Sears taking advantage of their holiday sales!  And what better than a pic of Paul pushing a double stroller through the ''Men's" department.
What a great idea...a lawn mower with an umbrella.  Too bad this would topple over and fall down our steep backyard.  Oh well...guess a push mower will do the job just as well!  :)
