Happy Thanksgiving 2012

We had a really wonderful Thanksgiving this year.  So much to be thankful for and we feel so blessed. We were so happy to be sharing this holiday with family and with it being the first Thanksgiving in our new home!

Early that morning, we all got geared up to do some cooking and...leaf raking.  :)
This picture doesn't do this leaf pile justice.  At one point it was taller than Landon and as wide as a truck.
Beyah and Bohdi loved playing outside for a few hours.
Elle and Landon helped out too!
And rode their little bikes.  :)
Time to prepare the turkey!!
Bohdi and Landon hanging out together on the hill.
They sat together for about 20 minutes.
And then I had to come over and get my kiss.
Grandad and Landon high fiving.
I was so excited to use our Kate Spade china for the first time since we were married in 2006.
Proud of our cute dining room table.  I made that table runner too the day before...gave it a country cottage look.
First family photo by our fireplace!

And then one with the pups!
We love our cozy little home.
Elle and Grandad snuggling together.
So sweet.
Haha, we loved this, Landon was sitting at the table patiently waiting to eat his cupcake with a turkey on it.
Great Grandad and Paul!
Kevin getting the wine opened up for our meal.
Father and son.
The kiddos were hanging out together on the kitchen floor.  :)
Paul did his part in preparing the meal and stirred the gravy for a few minutes haha.  But, he looks so handsome doing it!
Almost ready to eat!  Just need to add the mashed potatoes, homemade noodles and gravy!
Elle loves her Daddy so much.
Sweet baby girl.
Daddy really had her going!
Gramsey and Elle looking beautiful together.
Landon snuggled up next to Gramsey.  Their whole visit, Landon kept yelling at Paul and I if we called Gramsey Debby.  So, we made sure to use her 'real' name, Gramsey.  :)
Thankful for these two!
Time to eat!
This was one happy little man.
One more pic before we dig in!  I love Landon in this picture.  He was so patient and did a great job listening while waiting to eat up that yummy looking cupcake.
Isn't that turkey beautiful!
My family's homemade noodles!
And one of the last pictures of the day.  After a great morning outside, to cooking all day, to sharing a beautiful meal with family, it was one great day.  We are so blessed and so thankful.

Thanksgiving Visitors

We were so excited to hear that Kevin, Debby and Grandad were coming to visit for Thanksgiving!  We had a really great time and ate a lot of yummy food!

Once they got off the plane we met for lunch.
Princess Elle.
A little birdie told them that Elle loves Ariel.  :)
She is just the sweetest little babe!
The day before Thanksgiving I made my our family tradition...homemade noodles.
And we baked the pumpkin pies!
Every morning, Grandad and Gramsey played the guitar for Elle and sang her songs.  Landon has been sleeping in our room and sleeping in until 9am, so they have been getting some nice quality time with her.
Gramsey feeding Elle some yummy breakfast.
Another day, we ventured out to Landon's school playground!  The kids had a blast!
Good brother and sister.  Love.
Gramsey hung out with the kiddos while we went to get a cup of coffee.  Win for all of us!  Playground and Starbucks..mmm sounds good to me.
Great Granddad hopped in for a pic!
Paul and his Dad got to play some intense tennis matches!
Haha, I love this picture.  Elle wanted Daddy to hold her and she was putting up a pretty good fight...
He gave in.  But who wouldn't!?  She is such a beautiful little babe.
Meanwhile, Landon was very happy to be smiling for the camera.
Coffee and muffins at Whole Foods before Church!
Mommy and Daddy were coaching at a lacrosse clinic and Grandad sent me this pic of he and Landon hanging out.  Landon was enjoying a delicious fish lollipop.
Paul and Kevin tackled a lot of yard work during this trip.  Woohoo!  :)  And our neighbor Michael and his son Austin, and their yellow lab Abby came out to play.
Landon and Austin were having fun playing in the leaves (which is his new favorite thing to do these days).  When I asked them to smile, this is what my son does...lift up his shirt to show his belly and make a funny face.  At least Austin thought it was funny.  haha
 Laughing with each other.
 Such a handsome boy.
Big smile!
We started decorating our house for Christmas and the kiddos loved wearing their Mickey and Minnie hats from last Christmas!
So excited to decorate our little tree!
They both were excellent little helpers.
Elle loved the dancing reindeer that we have had for a few years.
After we put up our little tree in the foyer, we tried to get a family photo.
 Dinosaur in Elle's face haha.
Oops, Elle is looking at Daddy.
This one would have been the keeper, but Landon was making funny faces haha.  Still a keeper in my book though!
Our little Christmas tree in the foyer of our house!  We can't wait to get our real tree for the living room!
Grandad playing a fun song for the kiddos.  They all were singing so loud and having so much fun!
Elle loves the decorations.  Last year she was pretty oblivious to it all, so it's a fun year for her!
Landon, Gramsey and Bohdi snuggling on the recliner watching a movie.  Landon made a pillow fort.
Our little Minnie Christmas baby!
So glad Great Grandad could be here with us this Thanksgiving!
Possibly the cutest little girl ever.
Having fun playing upstairs!

On their last day of visiting, we had a delicious lunch by Paul's work!
And this little guy fell asleep.  :)  Had too much fun this past week.
Thanksgiving pics to come!
