Preparing for the Holidays

In the weeks prior to Christmas, we had a lot of fun adventures!

We made a visit to the dentist!

Landon was very brave and went first.  This was the first time in both Landon and Elle's lives that they let the dentist actually clean their teeth!!  I was one proud Momma.  :)

They enjoyed wearing the cool glasses inside.  :)

Showing me her pearly whites and saying "Cheese"!
Meanwhile, Gavin and I sat back and enjoyed every minute.
Then we went to get haircuts!

 Elle got some pretty braids.

Then we went to get my gel nail polish off and Elle got her nails painted while they waited so patiently.  :)
Once we took the braids out, she had an awesome head of krimpy hair!  Not so sure what she was doing here, but I do know she was enjoying that cake pop haha.
 Such a beauty.
Waiting for our car to be cleaned...

 Little stud muffin.
Gavin doing his best Zoolander impression.
All three kiddos passed out in the car...
So I took a quick detour on our way home to Starbucks, pulled into a parking spot and listened to Christmas music.  It was a nice way for me to have some 'down time'.
 Love our beautiful tree.
 He's growing so fast.
Our babysitter came over and when we came home, this is what we found!
 Their first gingerbread house!
Gavin is starting to smile!!
Almost a full smile!
Someone gave this little princess some markers and thought she could color unsupervised (aka Daddy) and 30 minutes later, we found green marker all over the walls going up the stairs and she was covered in it as well.
Elle chillin' with her little bro and Minnie.
 Making homemade Christmas gifts!
Matching PJs and a little photo shoot...

On our way to their Christmas production at school!
Landon is in the top row.
Elle is on the bottom right doing one of the hand gestures to a song (cradling baby Jesus).
I was so proud, this was the first holiday production that Landon sang along!  He didn't do the hand gestures, but he tapped his foot, swayed his hips and sand loud and proud!  I was smiling from ear to ear!
On the other hand, this was Elle's first production and she jumped right in with singing and dancing.
 Beauty.
One of my most favorite pics.  :)
 Christmas crafts!
This year, Landon would take a few ornaments off of the tree at a time and decorate his room with them.  He thought he was being sneaky, but what he didn't know is that his Mommy used to do the same thing.  I loved decorating my room for Christmas growing up!  They chose to hang these on their door handles to their bedrooms.
Little snuggle sesh with my little man.
 Those lips...

One weekend, we decided it was time to start a new tradition in our family.  Monthly dates.  Daddy and Elle go on a date and the boys and I go on a date to spend some quality time together.  We hope to teach the kiddos valuable lessons like how a man should treat a woman, chivalry and to keep our relationships strong as the kids grow older.
The boys and I went to grab a delicious lunch together.
We saw this cool guy and had to snap a pic.
Landon pulled out my chair for me haha...so cute!
 Gavin sandwich!
Daddy texted me this photo...they went to Chuck-e-cheese!  :)
