Fun in Fernandina

We spent a lot of our time at Robby and Rebecca's new salt water pool!  They just had it built and it's so nice, it feels like you are at the Ritz Carlton!
Landon loved showing off his new swimming skills!
Having too much fun!
Now this is luxury.
They built a huge step that can fit up to 4 pool chaises and it was also great for the little ones to play on without worrying about them in the deep part of the pool.
Elle and Ellie had fun playing together.
Landon and Avery were buds all weekend long.  Avery and her family moved into our old house!
We all went back out to the beach to play some beach volleyball.  The boys had fun looking for treasure in the sand.
Beach babe!
And then she tried to escape haha!
She found this very funny.
Our whole group out on the beach!  It's so nice to know when we go back to FB we always have good friends to visit!
Our little Tom Cruise.
Sandcastles!
Love these little squirts.
Volleyball time!
Elle and Avery squishing the soft sand between their fingers.
The game got pretty competitive...wouldn't want it any other way.
GG and Elle went for a stroll down the beach.
Later that night we all went swimming in the moonlight!  Check out the awesome fire pit they built next to the pool...I'm telling you, it was an oasis!  Paul and I are totally inspired haha!  Oh and check out Landon...he's swimming without his swimmies...just a pool noodle under his arms.  He became very bold and it was a little scary for me to watch, but he's learning..and Daddy was right there with him the whole time.  :)
One morning we met up our old playdate buddies!  And Landon got to climb his old favorite slide!
And down he goes!
Big girl on a mission...
To slide down the frog's mouth.
This was her favorite thing at the park!
Landon got to visit with his old best friend Lauren!  They were back at it like it was yesterday, playing and running around together.
And this is how we spent most afternoons while Elle napped.  It was so refreshing to just relax and read a book.  And Landon joined in as well...he loves to read.
We had a wonderful visit and look forward to our next trip to the island!
