We spent an afternoon fishing off of the 14th street pier in Fernandina with Dad and had a blast! It was warm, but the wind made it a little more chilly than normal. We caught 3 baby sharks (and threw them back of course)!! Landon was the official 'shrimp man' and helped Poppy pick out the best bait for each cast. Elle had fun helping Poppy reel in one of the sharks too! We made a really nice memory that day!

They loved to play this game where they would go on each side of the flag pole and give each other a kiss...too cute.
Landon was a bit nervous at first to help Poppy with the shrimp, but after 1 time of picking one out, he was a great little helper! He would say, "Do you need another Trimp Poppy!?" His pronunciation was too cute when he said Shrimp.
How ironic, but we saw a submarine going out for a deployment while we were fishing...brought back a lot of tough memories for me when Paul would leave for deployments. But, it was still a beautiful sight to see.

By this point, Landon loved pulling out shrimp for Poppy. He even was brave enough to grab one even when we didn't need one...he would just throw them off of the pier and tell us he was trying to get the fish to come to us haha.
