We found our new weekend hobby! Just a few miles from us is this beautiful mountain named Kennesaw Mountain and it is just such a beautiful place to visit. There are civil war reenactments and really interesting historic tours. The hiking trails are spectacular and when you get to the top of the mountain you can see the most amazing panoramic view of city.
After we parked our car we headed over to the neighboring farm and got to pet this beautiful horse. He was very friendly...a little too friendly.
He was really interested in Elle.Chilly day, but so nice to be outdoors.
Sweet baby girl.
Couldn't resist taking some pics with my babe.
So happy and so beautiful!
What happened next was hilarious and very unexpected...we found out why he was really interested in Elle...as I took this picture the horse bit Elle's hood and ripped it off her jacket! It had fur on it, so maybe he liked it? It was so funny, but we were also very thankful the horse did not try to bite Elle's pony tail or Elle! That would have been a very different blog post haha. After the horse took Elle's hood, this little pony came up to say hello.
The horse carried Elle's hood a few yards away and was seeing if it tasted good...it didn't haha.
And this little guy came over for a visit too.
So, Paul as valiant and brave as he is, hopped the fence to go get it back!! Glad the horse didn't kick him in the head as he was reaching for it!
Landon was ready to hike!
Ahhhh nature.Elle wasn't quite up for the hike, so I held her while these two got a nice head start down the hill!
I put her down and this is her saying "Ho-Me Mommy"
Daddy helped out for a bit. :)
So cute.
We found a bridge and a small stream.
Landon was looking for tadpoles...but it was a bit too cold for that!
We're excited to get back out there next weekend!!
