Sherwood Summer 2014

We love summer in Sherwood and this was Landon's first time in camp!  He was a Nit boy and Elle was in Playground.  Gavin hung out with Mommy in the cottage.  :)
Heading up Friar Tuck Rd to go to flag raising and sing the Sherwood Forest song!
Elle waiting for her counselors to arrive.
 Elle and Charlie

I snuck in some pictures of Elle bowling with her group!

Meanwhile, Landon had his swim lessons!  They taught him how to dive off of the side of the pool.

Elle and Charlie love to watch Landon and Madeline jump off of the diving board.  Soon they'll be doing it on their own too!

Driving around in the golf cart.

 Flag raising.

 Picking up Elle from camp!
 GG!
 Lunch picnic in the cottage.
Shelby and I got to have a 'Mom's Night Out' and we painted the Maryland flag!!
 So much fun!!
Landon playing street hockey with all the Nits!

 Gavin loves golf car rides.

Relaxing on the Robin Hood pier.

Picking up all the kiddos from camp!
Summer school work at lunch time!
 Love this little goggle man!

Oh I could eat him up! Such a cutie!
 Fun at Robin Hood beach.

 Beautiful cousin Madeline!
Poppy came to watch Landon swim in his first swim races!

 Proud Poppy!

Lee and Madeline...love this photo of them.
 So proud of our swimmer!
Fun golf cart rides with Papa!
This was a special moment for me.  As someone who grew up swimming in these weekly races, being able to watch my own son do it for his first time was just amazing.  I felt a lot of pride in this moment and it brought back a lot of great memories!  Plus Landon was only stung once by a sea nettle ;).  He was pretty excited about it actually and said it didn't even hurt that bad!! The Severn River and sea nettles go hand in hand.
